I’m glad that I’m done with my plates and with schoolwork though I’m not really happy with what happened in the past three weeks. I went to Starbucks recently to relax after my grueling final exams and to finish this sketch (of which I started two months ago). (*´_ゝ｀)

Drew a chocobo knight  after reading Purplekecleon’s Color Tutorial. You guys should read it! It’ll help you in picking the correct set of colors for your artworks! :-D

but what people don’t realize is that, when it comes to fictional characters, they are just as real to us as our friends or lovers or siblings or parents. it doesn’t matter that we can’t touch them or visit them or engage with them in conversation. what matters is that they’ve made an impact on our lives and that is what makes them real.

One of my new year’s resolutions is to improve my digital artworks. In order to do that, I need to draw more often. So every Saturday, I’ll draw people (with or without references), environments, objects, et cetera and even try to draw in different art styles. I hope I will see improvement in my artworks by the end of the year! o.o

I think I should start managing my time if I want to improve more on my artworks. I haven’t laid a finger on my maroon sketchbook since I got preoccupied by coursework. (・＿・; )
